The Checkpoint ALR 5 is an adventure-ready alloy gravel bike that's kitted with quality parts for long, rugged, miles on anything from chunky gravel to smooth tarmac. A wealth of features like loads of mounts for bags and racks, and a SRAM Apex 1x12 drivetrain makes this Checkpoint ready to customise for your next adventure.
Checkpoint ALR 5 is right for you if you favour epic gravel adventures that end with a big beverage and a burrito. But that doesn't mean you'll compromise on performance. You expect to get a lot for your hard-earned money, including quality, versatility, durability and a ridiculous amount of fun.
The Checkpoint ALR 5 features a stout 300 Series Alpha Aluminium frame with a progressive geometry that's stable at speed and efficient when you're grinding up a climb, hidden cables that won't interfere with bags, rack and mudguard mounts and integrated frame bag mounts, a 1x12 SRAM Apex drivetrain for grinding up hills or through rough gravel, hydraulic disc brakes for all-condition stopping power, tubeless-ready rims and wide Bontrager GR1 Team Issue 700x40c gravel tyres for added stability and traction.
If you want and superb all round gravel bike with excellent value, the Checkpoint ALR 5 is your ride. Quality parts, a durable alloy frame and a wealth of features like extra tyre clearance and customisation options so you can confidently take on bigger, better adventures.
Please note: This model features tubeless ready wheels and tyres which offer a superior ride and less rolling resistance than traditional innertubes. This system requires tyre sealant to function correctly and this will be fitted in our workshop prior to despatch. The nature of this sealant means that the tyre may not be fully sealed until it has been ridden a short distance and therefore the bicycle may arrive with reduced pressure in the tyres. Please check the bicycle's tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure before cycling.
IMPORTANT: This bicycle is supplied without pedals. Pedals for this bicycle can be selected for no cost using Podium Points™.
