Description
The Checkpoint ALR 5 AXS is a high-value alloy gravel bike that's kitted out with electronic shifting and quality parts for long, rugged miles on anything from chunky gravel to smooth tarmac. A wealth of features like nimble yet stable progressive geometry, loads of mounts for epic bikepacking adventures, plus a SRAM Apex AXS 1x12-speed drivetrain makes customising for any adventure easy.
It's right for you if you favour epic gravel adventures that end with a big beverage and a burrito. But that doesn't mean you'll compromise on performance. You expect to get a lot for your hard-earned money, including quality, versatility, durability and a ridiculous amount of fun.
The Checkpoint ALR 5 AXS features a stout 300 Series Alpha Aluminium with a progressive geometry that's stable at speed and efficient when you're grinding up a climb, hidden cables that won't interfere with bags, rack and mudguard mounts and integrated frame bag mounts, a 1x12 SRAM Apex AXS electronic drivetrain for grinding up hills or through rough gravel, hydraulic disc brakes for all-condition stopping power, tubeless-ready rims and wide 700x40c gravel tyres for added stability and traction.
The Checkpoint ALR 5 AXS is the bike for you if you want to pair an electronic drivetrain with quality parts, a durable alloy frame and a wealth of features like extra tyre clearance and customisation options so you can confidently take on bigger, better adventures.
Please note: This model features tubeless ready wheels and tyres which offer a superior ride and less rolling resistance than traditional innertubes. This system requires tyre sealant to function correctly and this will be fitted in our workshop prior to despatch. The nature of this sealant means that the tyre may not be fully sealed until it has been ridden a short distance and therefore the bicycle may arrive with reduced pressure in the tyres. Please check the bicycle's tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure before cycling.
IMPORTANT: This bicycle is supplied without pedals.
