Important lead time information
Where delivery times are stated as an ETA month this is based on the latest information from the manufacturer. These dates should be treated as a guide and may be subject to change. Due to an increased strain in global supply chains, factory and shipping schedules can be easily disrupted.
Should you place a future order with us we will monitor the bike’s ETA and keep you informed of any changes.

Description
The new Giant Defy Advanced is here. Designed around the needs of Sportive and Gran Fondo riders the Defy is a composite engineering masterpiece which combines true endurance comfort with a lively and responsive ride.
Free of cumbersome gimmickry, the frameset is one of the lightest in its category. With a perfect balance of high-performance reactivity and all-day comfort, it offers a "less is more" experience for modern endurance road riding.
Engineered compliance - Advanced-grade composite frame and fork are specifically engineered for endurance road riding, delivering a smooth and efficient ride quality that minimises fatigue on long rides. The new D-Fuse components work together to further absorb road shocks and vibrations.
Total control - New Contact D-Fuse handlebar features ergonomic shaping and an 8-degree flare for comfort and control on all-day rides. Rims are optimised for high-volume tubeless tyres (up to 38mm), and a 36mm rim depth offers stable, predictable handling in crosswinds.
Defy Advanced features an all-new composite chassis that combines efficiency with compliance, this endurance road machine will have you logging more miles at a greater average speed. The combination of a D-Fuse seatpost and handlebar, both featuring D-shaped tubing to better absorb shocks and vibrations, helps you stay smooth no matter how rough the road. The new Contact AeroLight stem has cleanly integrated cable routing. And the frameset offers clearance for high-volume tyres up to 38mm.
Please note: This model features tubeless ready wheels and tyres which offer a superior ride and less rolling resistance than traditional innertubes. This system requires tyre sealant to function correctly and this will be fitted in our workshop prior to despatch. The nature of this sealant means that the tyre may not be fully sealed until it has been ridden a short distance and therefore the bicycle may arrive with reduced pressure in the tyres. Please check the bicycle's tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure before cycling.
IMPORTANT: This bicycle is supplied without pedals.
