Trek was founded in 1976 by Dick Burke and Bevill hogg. Dick and Bevill owned a bicycle store in Madison, Wisconsin but were frustrated by the lack of high-quality US made bikes they could sell their customers. That frustration give birth to the Trek Bicycle Company, a company focussed on designing and manufacturing mid to high end bicycles in the USA.
Four decades later and Trek have grown into a large global brand with some of the most cutting edge products such as Madone, Domane, Supercaliber and Fuel EXe in their line up. Whilst many of their products are at the forefront of bicycle innovation, Trek remain focussed on quality and their lifetime warranty and customer support is second to none.
